Hello, I’m looking for an app on my iphone which would be similar to the calender app that comes with it, but is a little more enhanced. Something with features like categorizing events. For example all of my shcool events would be in a list with a color to represent them, and all of my work events would be in a different list with a different color to represent them. That way if I just wanted to see my events for school, I could look at the list instead of trying to pick them out of the calender. Is there anything out there like that? With 75,000 apps it tough to find what I am looking for.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know of any app that has the precise functionality you're looking for.

I use Google Calendar and created different calendars. I also use push so that any change I do will be reflected on the other calendar.

The different calendars are color coded when I go to list view in the calendar app for iPhone.

Use Google calendar or Mobile me to color code calendar items

How do you change the colors? I have a couple calendars synced from google but the colors where just assigned and they don't even match the colors in google that I set for the calendars.

I use Saisuke calendar app...from the app store. It allows color coded text entries. BIG downside is NO alerts unless you sync it with Google calendar with I don't do. If I need an alert I use the stock calendar as an adjunct. It is just nice to use "at a glance" to see my upcoming work, appointment schedules in color coded text instead of just a dot.

I got you. The thing you are looking for is just not a calender. We can say a schedule book of yours. Your all working activities with date and time will be recorded in advance and it will remind your job. There is such kind of application. Search your suitable one.
