So...I was told by AT&T that my town would have 3G by the end of October. I'm pretty excited so I've been trying everyday. Well...I slide the little tab over today to turn 3G on and lo and behold, 3G!!! I know that most of you guys have 3G already but it's a happy day for me now. I had 3G in all the surrounding towns, just not my town. I use my wi-fi when I'm at home but at work, the edge network barely even connected. Now it's sooo fast compared to what it was.

Anyway, just wanted to let it be known, HAHA!

I understand this feeling. I got 3G over the summer in my town....and honestly, my parents still don't have 3G in their town, or county, come to think of it. The surrounding counties have it, but not theirs.

Congratulations. I often wonder how people got by with Edge when Ver. 1 iPhone came out. It is practically unusable. 3G must be like lightening speed in comparison.

EDGE to me is very helpful when I am outside and no wifi connection near me. 3G in Egypt is as slow as Edge. If, for example, Edge gives you a 4kb/s download rate, 3G here gives you 9kb/s, so there's no difference at all; waiting a couple of seconds for the page to open is not going to kill you. But I am pretty sure 3G is fast as hell in the States, isn't it?

T-Mobile just got 3G enabled for Honolulu. But, there's still no 3G for the rest of the island. More and more people are living outside of Honolulu these days.

Even in the Verizon commercial, it looks like Hawaii has the best AT&T 3G coverage of any state! :)

Really nothing you can do except wait it out.

I actually don't feel like I'm getting ripped off on my bill anymore, haha.

My area just got 4g, i wish AT&T would work on this, my 3g is slower than WiFi.
