Best emoji thread

I don't really use emoji that much, simply because they don't come to mind when I type. When I do go searching for one I find their seemingly random order frustrates me to the point I give up. What sort of organization is that anyway?

So what are some of the most useful and/or funny emoji that you use regularly? And what damned page is it on? :dft011:wicked_smile

a friend of mine sent me a story in them one night and it was really funny because i actually understood it. ive been going back and forth on getting the app maybe this thread will make me decide!

I've been using them in my text messages and e-mails. I love them. They are fun!

I just wish there were more. I would like a little guy with dark glasses denoting coolness and I would like some other hand jestures. Hats, little guys and gals with hats would be good too. Oh and more seasonal stuff would be great also. Seasonal outfits like coats hats and scarves on the little guys and gals.

I do like them and they make for funny jokes and descriptions on stuff in texts.

I say just go ahead and get an emoji app, whichever you like, there are so many. I got one last year called Frosty Place and that was in Japanese. It came out way before all these other ones came out. I found out about it from an App Reviewer and he gave directions on how to get it to open up the emoji's on your phone. I followed them and it worked. I then took the app off my phone the beginning of this summer. I was in fear that if i took that app off i would loose the emoji's but I did not. The app is gone and the emoji's stayed.

But, go ahead and get it. It's great fun!

That is what prevents me from using them. If they could be seen by other mobile devices and platforms I would download the program.

Because it was only meant for users in Japan. There are guides out there that will tell you how to enable it if you're not j/b.

You need to be either jailbroken or you need to download the app from the AppStore.

From Cydia type in emoji and download it.

If you have downloaded it from the AppStore or cydia you need to activate it through your keyboards, go through settings. Head
towards japan keyboard and you'll see it there.

You may be delirious... :dft011:wicked_smile You didn't have it on your 3G unless it was jailbroken, previously jailbroken, or you downloaded an app to enable it. At any rate, if you plan on downloading an app to enable emoji, DO NOT PAY for one. Download "Spell Number"...it's free!

I did not know that, thanks! I had already paid for the emoji app. I use it often with people I know who have iPhones...in text, email, and games.

The only emoji I've really missed are

1. Mooning someone
2. Flipping someone off
3. Wicked smiley face

Download Spell Number from App Store

Launch app and enter this newest code 91929394.59 and close the app

(Open Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards >Japanese > Turn the Emoji "ON"

Select the Globe when entering text with any app to add Emoji

I have many many friends with iPhone (10 that I frequently message), and I use emoji a lot.
