This looks as if it has potential. It even looks similar to an iPhone, apart from the buttons at the bottom. It's nice that they've integrated a camera with flash. There's a lot of goodies crammed into to something quite small. Mobile technology is evolving so quickly, I just can't keep up.

HTC has fancy looking phones with features that make your chin drop to your leg but ****ty performance (excuse the language), horrible touchscreen, laggy, and overpriced. I've tried a lot of HTC phones, I can pretty much say the only one that is good is the HTC Touch Pro. I think that's the best HTC phone ever so far. That's why it still costs a lot, it only dropped a few hundred Egyptian pounds since it was released.

still windows mobile = no go for me.
just tried an unlocked Touch Pro 2 with WM 6.5. More lipstick on a pig.
The phone I'm really excited about is the Nokia N900 which I just posted on in the off topic forum.

My thoughts:
-I love that HTC is going with a capacitive screen instead...this is going to help tremendously, I hated using a stylus on my old Tilt/Kaiser.
-I'm willing to bet the battery life isn't near the 3GS life.
-WinMo=UGGGGGH!! Deal stopper there. HTC has to go through so much R&D just to skin the device to cover up most of WinMO. With Windows 7 and Vista being so 'colorful' and 'pretty' why can't they wake up WinMO?!?!?! The top 'Start' bar turns me off, always has. Ugly.
-The phone will STILL BE OVERPRICED compared to the iPhone. Though a lot of people see the iphone overpriced.
-Camera may 'open' fast but the pic wasn't very impressive at all. I'll wait to see some actual pics taken by the HD2 but for now I'm hesitant to be positive. LED lights are a good touch though.
As a manufacturer, I like HTC and can see a bright future for them...without Windows. I haven't tried Android myself but have seen the videos. It lagged but I would think a capacitive screen can help that.

WinMo = Booo!
LED Flash = Booo! (If you're gonna add flash, use xenon)
