My FIRST iPhone receipt! One of the very first people to ever own one =) Believe it or not my co-worker still uses this very iPhone on his T-Mobile daily. I have upgraded to the 3G on release and now I have a 3G[S] in my pocket. Love it!

Wow, cool! It's hard to believe we all paid so much for the first generation phones...but yep, we did. I did too. I still am nostalgic about the debut of this phone, it was an incredible time in '07!
I'm surprised you didn't blank out the last four of your credit card.

got my iPhone 8gb on 6/30/07
iPhone 3G 16gb on 7/12/08
iPhone 3Gs 32gb on 6/19/09
the 3Gs was by far the easiest of the 3 to obtain. walked in, not a wait at all. thank you AT&T/Apple for allowing online ordering and pre-ordering :ok:ok
I still have my receipt from the first one too, not sure why. I got rid of that phone loooooong ago.

I didn't mind... cause I was like the only one with the iPhone at the moment. Everyone was jealous or talked crap about my iPhone (because they were jealous).
Now days everybody and their mama has one since the price is much more affordable (including the jealous buddies that said iPhone's were overrated & sucked). Not that there's anything wrong with that but ya. :dft003:coolkid

Yep, back then they weren't subsidized. You didn't have to sign a 2 year contract either. You just had to give a fake SSN, which would cause the credit check to fail, and then they would give you a month by month contract.

I didn't keep my receipt but I still have my box.
My 2 year contract is up next December sometime so hopefully by then they will have a new version out.

definitely the way to go. I walked right in and out of the Apple store to get my v1 with no wait at all. The high price tag probably had alot to do with that one. The 3G, I waited 8 hours last year and didn't get one the first day and waited 5 hours the next day and finally got it. Never again.
