Gmail IMAP showing then gone...

Hi all.

I have a 3GS running 3.1 stock.
I notice that sometimes my phone will say i have mail... I look and its not there. If i then hit the refresh button it pulls it down.

Very strange. It seems random.
If you have the mail app open you can actualy see the mail come in... then its gone. have to hit refresh and it pulls it back down.

Anyone else ran into this or know of a fix?

Id just go with the push Gmail via exchange but not being able to see all my other folders isnt going to be good for me.

gmail push through exchange is really screwed up right now. Mine doesn't even work.
