folders in itunes?

so on my wife's iPhone, she likes her music, and when in the car the girls music for our daughters. is there a way to separate say a few hundred of my wife's techno & musicals into one folder, and have another folder for the girls music? she gets annoyed having to scroll through all kinds of songs to search for a kid song lol, i was hoping i could just make like a mom folder and kids folder and separate the music into each folder??

do i make sense? case after reading this back i have no idea what im saying LOL

Make Playlists.

playlists are basically what your asking about. just make playlists, i do smart playlists to, you can tell the playlist you only want songs by one artist and it will take all the songs that are made by that artist or featuring that artist, you can do other things to sort/make smart playlists also.
