Does creating a custom ispw for 3.1 3gs automatically preserve the baseband?

I did not see any setting during the creation of the custom ispw for this. Beutneuter seemed to have some options that alluded to baseband options but they were grayed out.

My phones been stuck on the boot screen since 3.01 and anxious to finally upgrade.


Anyone?
