i have an iphone on 3.0 and it was working fine before. I had the 5.0 att carrier update, have reset the phone, reset network settings, and put in airplane mode and have flickered off, the mms messaging option to turn on is out of the messaging tab in settings too. so any suggestions?

The work around that people were using before 5.5 came out has been messed up and a lot of people have lost MMS. Wait for others to chime in but it seems the only way to use MMS is with the 3.1 OS update (which currently is not jailbrakeable) and also the carrier update 5.5.

I dunno but it seems that several people said they lost MMS when 3.1 came out and they didn't upgrade due to 3.1 being buggy or the lack of jailbreak for 3.1. You can't MMS without 5.5 and I don't think you can get 5.5 without 3.1. Vicious cycle.

I could be wrong but I think that's how it went down.:dft012:wink

I am on 3.0 and used the 5.0 carrier file workaround. I still have MMS working perfectly. I thought maybe something else was happening I didn't know about.
