I've been looking at some cases online and wanted to get some of your inputs to see which one I should get?!

So Far I narrow my search down to these three cases:

1. By far the most highly recommended case by MacWorld and so many ppl but this thing is not cheap; Quattro case by ivyskin http://www.ivyskin.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/5e06319eda06f020e43594a9c230972d/i/P/iPhone3GSCase.png

2. The vaja case which is still too expensive ;)

3. I love the color on this case but I dont know much about them.

I use the Incase slider for iPhone. It's awesome, make it nearly indestructable, and has a nice grippy back. Dropped it on its face from six feet up and no damage to the screen, as it's beveled.

Tried the Ivyskin T4 and for the money was not impressed. Was like $60. The one I had did not have a perfect fit at the bottom, kept clicking and became annoying. Also, the rubber plug port kept falling out and lost both of them after 10 days. Sent it back and they charged me 15% restocking and $5 ea for the rubber ports that felt out. Looking forward to trying the new Otterbox Commuter. Will update when I get it.

inCase Slider. I have the black, soft touch finish one and my wife has the glossy white. if you get the inCase Slider, be sure to sand down all the mold lines inside the case. They can be rather rigid and scratch your iPhone as I've learned from experience.

I have the monochrome blue incase slider which I love. Previously, I was using the speck candyshell which provides great protection but it's bulkier. The slider provides protection & doesn't add much bulk.

iFrogz Luxe.

Adds minimal bulk yet protects well. Lots of color choices too. Love mine.

Some folks have had a problem with the small locating tabs on the lower half breaking off (my wife for example), but that's plain old carelessness as far as I can tell.

They retail for $30 but you can pick 'em up on Amazon for $11.

the tabs break very easily
my wife went thru 2 luxe's in a 2 month period and she is not rough on phones.
also that bump on the back makes the phone lay retarded.
not worth the 30-40 bucks imo

Of the 3 listed above, only the first one would allow you to breathe any kind of sigh of relief if you accidentally dropped your phone.
My personal experience with Vaja, leaves that case very much undesireable, and the corners are not very protected.
The3rd one doesnt even cover the bezel. And snap on cases generally come off just as quick.
There are some good suggestions in this thread, and if you want my honest opinion, you cannot go wrong with the Incase Slider or the Seidio Innocase II. best protection without being too bulky.
