A number of members had requested t-shirts and that brought upon the process of find rebranding everythingiCafe. Now that we've got a fancy new logo, it's time to discuss plans for t-shirts.
If you have any suggestions, ideas, etc. --- please feel free to weigh in. Right now, I'm considering American Apparel shirts and I have a local screen printer that I've used for the everythingtreo shirts.
Colors, sizes, slogans, designs.
I will not be using Cafe Xpress --- did a sample years back and wasn't happy with the quality at all.
What would you wear?

Girly sizes! Long sleeve in grey, please! Thermal/waffle knit shirts are even better! :)

Long sleeve option would be great. I'm seeing the logo only on the front breast and logo+URL on the back.

Trying to remember some of the shirts Apple retail employees have been wearing?

As for fabric quality, American Apparel is a great choice Chris.

Something along these lines. Full logo and site address --- small at the top/back of the neck?

A possible different direction:
An image of Mrs iCafe making 'that throw' that killed an iPhone. Or perhaps the end result of the throw.

How about the logo smaller and on the left or right chest with the words 'everythingiCafe' below it? Also, to have the largest supplies in 'Large' sizes since those sizes are the most in demand.

I too like the idea of the logo on the front breast with the words 'everythingiCafe' below. This will give the shirt "class". :ok:ok

Yes, or the words to the side of the logo like the banner at the top of this page.

Will the shirts be free to anyone who joined the forum before January of '08? :dft011:wicked_smile

I like that idea, but on the back, how about 2" letters "EIC" and then the site address underneath and .5"?
kinda wish the square wasn't so "pink".

It's going to be modified a bit --- to the point where it's more white... or a very, very flat pink.

@Chris
What about a slogan on the t-shirt? Perhaps I should start another thread to discuss that? Here are a couple of suggestions:
"EverythingiCafe....Have you had your cup today?". I guess that would have been even more apt if you'd gone with the cup logo.
"EverythingiCafe....Slide to unlock"

I think that logo would look great on a brown shirt. Black is too boring.

Connie, I really like these concepts. That is just awesome! Beautiful work! If the shirts look like these I will be ordering t-shirts, hoodies, and long sleeves. :)

Why not stick with the site colors? I vote for the maroon color that is the background for the logo at the top of the forum.

I'm not picky about color though I do like the black, but I will like in any color, brown, maroon, whatever as long as it's not a guy shirt. I just did it on black so logo would stand out.

I love the black color that Connie's pictures show. Her concepts are exactly how I envisioned the 'everythingiCafe' shirts to look.

Black and white tshirts are dime a dozen. Do something a little different.

Also, EIC being only a website, I think it's important to add .com to the logo.
Connie, can you do the t-shirt with just the Home-button-in-a-chat-bubble graphic.com? Hope that makes sense.

Good point about the .com. I agree.

The color black goes with everything (pun intended). It also doesn't show the dirt.

The color is a little off, but just to get an idea...

I would buy this right now. I like the big logo on front.
Makes people go, "???" until they see the back for explanation/website. :045:thumbs_up

You should do other merchandise... mousemats / caps etc...

Why not other items, like mouse pads, pens, Flash drives (think Bank giveaways!) etc. Sorry I don't get a chance to where t-shirts that often, but all the ideas look really good.

Sorry, I have to disagree. I like the ones that Connie did. I can tell that we all have different tastes. No matter what T-Shirt, Hoodie is designed not all will like it. I guess I could always design my own for my personal use that is, and not to sell.
