Getting mms to work on 2g

Well basically what the title says i'm trying to get mms to work on my 1st gen iPhone I have AT&T and I've seen people getting it to work on tmobile but trying ti figure out if anybody got it to work on there

The only way I know of is to jailbreak.

You won't be able to get official MMS service from AT&T. Only 3G and 3GS models can get that.

Wasn't there some
kind of work around that though cause my phone is jailbroken and I got the mms for 2g but it just fail like I'm not sure on the whole thing but don't u call then and tell then about enabling mms on another phone then swap sim cards or something

That doesn't work on the original iPhone. That method was just to get MMS working early for 3G and 3GS users.

That sucks I don't want to extend my contract wit AT&T just to get mms though

a year ago when my first gen broke i went to apple to have it looked at and they said it would be $199 to fix or $199 to upgrade to the 3g. apparently it wasnt advertised but apple offered an anytime upgrade from the first gen to the 3g for the $199 price and it would not extend your contract. thats what i ended up doing instead of fixing my original. maybe you should give apple a call and see if they still offer that. i know at&t will not tell you that because they didnt when it happened they tried to make me pay a full non contract price so i just went back to apple.
