Restore Iphone 3gs without updating to 3.1

Is it possible to restore my 3gs to other Fw except for 3.1? Currently I having some issues with my jailbroken 3gs where Midomi cant retrieve youtube video after searching for the song.

Wanted to restore and jail break it again. Anyone can help?

I thought apple stopped signing the earlier OS's for 3GS...so the answer is no.

Unless he was jailbroken and stored his ECID on Cydia. Then it is possible with a little modification. I have done it myself.

Im still using the itune 8.2.1.6.

the link doesnt give me answer as yet.

A 3GS phone on 3.1 cannot be downgraded unless you previously logged your ECID and other details at Cydia.

If you did not do so...then once you reach a point where you need to restore your 3gs 3.0 or 3.0.1 phone, you can only go to 3.1

So be careful until there is a jailbreak for a 3GS on 3.1.

If you are already on 3.1 with your 3GS then you are stuck.
