OK so I was stupid and upgraded to 3.1. I have now successfully downgraded to 3.0. Installed the mobile config profile from help.benm.at and when I go to setup the tethering I don't have the tether on off slider. It just says 'setup tethering'. So I tap that and it tells me I need to contact AT&T to enable tethering. Either AT&T has figured out how to stop this, or because I updated to 3.1 it blocks this. Probably both.
Anyways, so while still in 3.0 I attempt to jailbreak with pwnage. No dice. After the custom ipsw file is setup, I go into DFU mode, select my custom ipsw file to restore and I've gotten error 9, and 1600.
Anyone have any suggestions how to get me jailbroken again?
Update: I was able to jailbreak 3.1 with pwnage 3.1.
