Hi i'm having a problem trying to restore my iphone os. I guess it was back in may or so my brother in-law put the beta 3.0 os on my iphone 2g. I then upgraded to a 3g and forgot all about that, but I recently decided to sell my 2g but I wanted to get a official firmware on it before doing so. I was going to ask him about it but we recently had a fight so I don't really wanna ask him about it.
Can I use one of the firmware files from this site http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=750 and restore with that? If not can someone please send me in the right direction on what I need to do. The version it says on the phone right now is 3.0 (7A312g).
