if your TV has HDMI, get a mini-DVI to HDMI adapter and HDMI cable.... total cost $10 from MONOPRICE

which macbook pro do you have? the new unibody?

If so (and your TV has HDMI), you will need this minidisplayport->DVI adapter (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB570Z/A) in addition to a DVI->HDMI cable (or adapter).

it's more than a little ridiculous.

I didn't mess w/the resolution; didn't have time. This weekend I'll have more time to play with it.

i think samsung has a zoom setting called "just" that should adjust the image to fit the edges exactly.
