Home Sharing Error Message...

I am trying to log in to my iTunes Account in order to start my Home Sharing but I am receiving this error message: Home Sharing could not be activated because this computer is not authorized for the account "myemail@gmail.com". Please authorize this computer and try again.
I have received this message both on my desk top and laptop. I am using the correct log in information for my iTunes account.
Does anyone know why I am receiving this error and how to fix it?

Try deactivating all computers currently "allowed" to use iTunes under your account. Then active the two you're going to use and see what happens.

I had issues downloading app updates through iTunes, to update the ones on my PC. I had used all 5 activations, through some google searching I found that the error I was getting had something to do with me using all 5 activations.
