Star ratings for songs.

So I have a question about the 1-5 star ratings you can give to each song or albums in iTunes.

Do the stars based on rating control how many times you hear a certain song when on shuffle?

Say i have an album with 5 songs. #1 and #2 are rated 1 star, and #3,#4,#5 are rated 5 stars. Will it play 3,4,5 more frequently or give them more priority instead of songs 1 and 2??

I rate all my 1183 songs. Just wanted to know.

I use the ratings to create smart playlists. I have one that automatically pulls in all of my favorites (all songs rated 5 stars) and one that pulls all songs rated 3 or 4 stars that I haven't listened to in a couple of months, and others. I find it to be a very handy tool to help me get through all my music and "re-discover" songs I haven't listened to in a while.

So if i rate a song 1 star does the iphone know to play higher rated songs more often?
