As I understand it, Zodplay is still under Beta.... Does anyone have any better insights as to Zodplay's current status? Any alternates out there for playing FLAC format?

A little add'l searching reveals that Zodplay is now vlc4iphone and the current version is v2.1.0 which is available via Cydia.
