So i have all my music on an external hard drive which is working great. Under iTunes preferences/advanced, i have the external drive listed in the media folder location. Heres the problem, i thought it would also put all my iphone applications and album art on the external drive. i noticed on my laptops hard drive, it still had an iTunes folder with the album art and applications. So i move that to the external drive just in case. Once i did that, i lost all my music and applications. Just to see what it would do, i re-installed one application, and it put it back into the laptops hard drive, not the external.
is there anyway to get everything associated with iTunes on the external drive?
