Yay! Los Angeles is on the list of cities to get this service by the end of the year.

Instead of spending money on that they should be extending 3G to areas where we only have the slowass EDGE, like just outside of Dallas.

No offense but why would they build new 3G towers when they can retrofit existing ones for cheaper...then afterwards just build 7.2mbps towers.
(I am not an AT&T, 3g nor 7.2 expert...I'm just assuming this is what AT&T is thinking)
...maybe you should move into Dallas instead. lol

I just got 3G yesterday outside of Louisville. They actually extended it 10 miles south of where it was and about 10 miles in either direction. I have always been about 7/10ths of a mile south of the nearest 3G signal. I think as they roll out the newer stuff, they may start adding the old 3G stuff to more areas using the existing equipment.
