Very cool Honda. Now I have to try and figure out the people I talk to most that aren't on AT&T.

Well, yeah. It's not the phone, it's the calling plan that qualifies for the new deal.

Im on a family talk plan, but my plan comes to 69 or something, and to qualify on family talk you need to be on the 89 plan, something like that. So lame.

I agree. All plans should be included.

Or at least have an option for like $5 for 5 people/$10 for 10 people. Anything to make more money and that would be an option to everyone. Not everyone wants to upgrade their plan to the $89 plan so I think it would benefit a lot of people.

I racked up over 4500 rollover minutes last year but when I changed my plan to the iPhone it all came down to 900. Still I've had my iPhone for 2 months and I'm growing my rollover minutes account. Now with this I'll have more useless rollover minutes. Of course they'll only have this available for 900 minutes or more so I can't reduce my plan and keep this. Oh well, that's AT&T.

I have the 1400 minute Family Talk, but it only costs $80.00
does this mean I won't qualify for this?

Maybe we can get a less minutes but get the A list? That would be awesome.
I mean the A list would be lame if you had to pay more.

this will only be cool if they offer lower minute plans

I don't expect them to lower their rates any time soon. They'll just keep piling on features we don't need (instead of ones we would actually appreciate, like unlimited texting with a data plan) and charge the same bloated price.
I have a bajillion and a half rollover minutes. [sigh]

Didn't I read that At&t was going to cut the iPhone plan by $10?

If you have a 900 minute plan you get 5 people to call. If you have a larger plan you get 10 people to call. More info when you log into your AT&T account online.

You are acutally paying $89.99 i bet. The $80 goes on one line, and your 2nd line gets the $9.99 charge. So yes you would apply.

You are correct. I called customer service and asked. It will help us a bunch
because my stepdaughter calls one number almost 200 times a month
thanks for your answer

I don't qualify since I'm in the 450 minute individual plan.

My wife and I are on the family 700 minute plan (both 3GS's) so I guess we're ineligible, too. Ah well. No skin off my back since we never go over anyway and have plenty of rollover minutes saved up.

Yeah, I wish AT&T had a program where you could donate minutes to those in need. I have nearly 2,000 rollover minutes and 99 of them are going to expire in October.

I'm quite confused. The AT&T is saying that our plan isn't eligible however we have a Nation FamilyTalk plan with over 1400 minutes per month. And according to the site the 1400 minute plan is only $80 a month?

So if I add my Google Voice number I can basically call anyone now for free without having to worry about a 5 number limit? I just added it so I guess I'll see on my next bill.

I'm sure they'll be looking at that since they mention it in their rules when you sign up for the plan.
I still think as soon as SPRINT gets a phone like the iPhone then AT&T will almost disappear. Now SPRINT stole AT&Ts thunder with a plan where you can call ANY MOBILE FREE no matter what carrier it's on.
