Is this going to be included in the Data plan or are we going to have to pay extra to be able to send and receive MMS ?

att included it with the unlimited messaging plan for couple of years now so as long as no download charge ( iphone unlimited ) its included.

It's included.
Do you mean it's included with an unlimited text (messaging) plan or the unlimited data plan? I thought MMS was not included with data plan (like email is). I thought it was in the text/messaging plan and if you do not have a text/messaging plan, you'll have to pay for each individual text or MMS.
If that's the case, will the messaging plan change at all when MMS is added? Say for instance you have a 200 text plan. Will that change to a 200 text/MMS plan with one MMS counting the same as one text?

What I meant was that there should be no extra charges over and above what we're paying now. I was a bit unclear on that.

If you have unlimited text, its included with that package.

And if you don't have unlimited text? If you have a 200 text plan, will one MMS count as one text?

They said it is included in text messaging bundles. It will work like any other phone does on messaging plans. They have made themselves look bad enough it would be another PR nightmare if they made us wait this long then charged us extra for a service other phones get included in their messaging bundles. That is why they brought up how many people will be using mms because a lot of people have messaging bundles and will soon be able to send sms and mms messages.

I am guessing we will have to do another firmware update on the 25th to make this possible?

I must apologize for bogging down the network the several months I've had MMS working. I swear I've never even used MMS on my previous capable phones before the iPhone. Now I think I've sent 20 picture messages a day! I think it's because the unique way it's implemented on the iPhone - it's just plain... well... nifty! I love being able to scour the internet to copy and paste any image or gif that I see into my Messaging app and send it to my friends and family! And what about being able to modify and improve the picture as well as add text to it if I wish with Photogene. Legen... wait for it, wait for it... dary! :ok:ok
