Does any one know if there is any way that you can make a playlist directly on the phone or does it have to be done on iTunes and then synced?

The only playlist you can directly manage on your device is the "On-the-Go (http://ipod.about.com/od/rippingmixingburning/g/on_the_go_def.htm)" playlist.

Keep in mind that you don't have much control over the songs in the Genius playlists, relative to the On-the-Go playlists, or standard playlists on iTunes.

whenever i see the word genius and apple together i roll my eyes. one too many bad experiences with their "genius" to make me think a monkey could do their jobs a bit better.

Yeah, it's like two oxymoronic words you'd never presume to hear in the same sentence. :dft008:suprised
