itouch 2g 3.0 jb help please

This is what i have going on, i JB 2 itouch 1g already using ultrasn0w 0.72 i went and tried to jb an itouch 2g 3.0 with redsn0w 0.72 and that crashed, DL the 0.8 and that crashes too, the point of crash is when i have to direct it to the ispw then it reads it tells me im all go i hit next and boom crash... every time!!

suggestions please
im doing this on a pc since i have a old ass power pc mac and that is the way that i have done them all anyway!!

You need to use redsn0w 0.8.

It sounds as if JJ has already tried 0.8 if I'm reading his post correctly. I've had 0.72 work as well, though it seems to be pretty much a crapshoot as to which one will work on any particular 2G model.

thanks for teh responses, yea i tried both of them and total crash with both im on vista btw it worked and still does with itouch 1 since i did on again, but i cant get it to work with itouch 2

redsn0w 0.8 should work. just don't install icy. I have had problems, but if u do it rite & follow the instructions, there should be no problems.

tired and it still crashes.... agh im soooo confused, works for the itouch 1 but not itouch 2 agh...

yea tried that, its weird man, ef it i just gave it back t my cousin and told her id do it later...
