Okay I've just recieved my iPhone as a birthday gift. I am over-joyed but I am also over-whelmed.

I connect the iPhone to my PC with a Windows XP OS and it reads the phone as if it were a camera. Prehapes it is my utter excitement that does not allow me to think straight but I am awfully fustrated. I also want to download videos onto the phone and well it seems as though the photo area is read-only because I can't input any videos nor music.

Somebody please help me.

You will need to download and install iTunes, once done when
your phone connects it will show up in iTunes. And away you go.

Also whenever you have photos on your phone it will detect as
a camera to your PC from what I have noticed so far. I usally
just cancel it out unless I want the photos on my PC.
