View Full Version : Edge not working, should I take it to apple store??

My edge is not working on the phone. Shows the E but nothing works. i did a hard reset and still nothing. I think it might be the area but im not sure. Im going to Madison Wi from Rockford IL today. If it doesnt work along the way should I take it back to the apple store there.

Maybe no service in that Area for EDGE who knows try it where you usually are if it doesnt work then you know there is a problem

its not working where I use it everyday, so... if it doesnt work on my 2 hour trip... its got to be the phone.

i was told by an apple store employee the other day that there is only one antenna in the phone, thus, if your edge doesnt work, its not the antenna.

keep trying if not then you know what to do.. sorry you already did a reset ..

Excellent news - at least you didn't have to return your phone!

I noticed that Edge goes down in San Francisco every now and then. It's not a dead spot issue either. If I'm sitting on my couch, Edge can go down for a little while and then magically come back. This was just when I was testing out Edge at my place - normally I'm on my wifi at home.
