.bin to mpeg4 conversion

So whats the best way to convert a downloaded movie (.bin format) into an mpeg4 to view on the iPhone?

I have Sorenson Squeeze 4.2 but it doesn't work with .bin files.

I'm not sure any program will do this. I mean, it's entirely possible, but just never heard of it.

Download a free program called VCDGear it will take the files out of .bin to mpeg format.. then use these other programs to convert to iphone format

Download a program called Direct Show Dump, it's free. I used to use it to transfer my .tivo files. Works perfectly. Then you shoot the resulting file through Videora or Super Converter to convert it to the proper Iphone format.

it is for CDS but you can remove the video from it usually when you DL files from irc or torrent they are .bin if you want the better quality VCD or SVCD

Well if your taking the DL approach why dont you just dl it with the extention you want?

I dont know why someone would take that approach dont ask me lol.. I the way I see it .. It would be a headache to download a VCD or SVCD because they usually are 2-3 CDS you need to extract the videos then join the videos then convert them again all takes a sh*t load hours...

Although some releases are made VCD or SVCD first like a TELESYNC

A .bin file is a compressed file, like a .zip file. You need only to uncompress the file and then you can convert it. It is probably in an .avi or an .mpg format which you will see after opening the compressed file. WinZip should be able to open the .bin file for you.

You can also use Iso Buster. I use that one for .iso and .bin files.

You can use isobuster but #1 its not freeware to a certain point you need to register it i knew he wouldnt or knows how to make a keygen lol.. plus it will give you errors once a while for different files..

.bin or .cue is a backup image of a CD. All you have have to do is burn the bin image into a CD or DVD using Nero or similar program. The only thing you have to make sure its burned as an image iso format for auto extraction. Then it can be converted into MP4.
