Does this mean that it's all in Apple's hands now? It was hard for some to get it working and now it seems as though a lot of users are having success.

I think AT&T is more or less ready... I just think it's Apple that wants to release it on their terms. I'm guessing maybe for their big event in September.

Have people been using the new beta software with mms and before it wasn't working and now it is?

I too am running 3.0.1 with MMS working. No jailbreak. Just pure, unadulterated luck.

So there are 2 versions of 3.0.1 one with and the other without MMS?

So there are 2 versions of 3.0.1 one with and the other without MMS?No...I updated the carrier with the 5.0 version, and used the sim-switch method. That's all.

Ah I see. I have the photo icon when I go into the text messenger but when I send it gets about 90% of the way sending and says it couldn't send it.

Heard T-Mobile has no problems with it but ATT on the other hand....

Also can't receive, get the enter password and username crap.

I'm running with MMS on 3.0.1.
Be careful not to trip on anything...
