You have several options.
AirSharing-View only. Wifi transfer files to phone
FileAid-View only. Support MS office and several other file types. Wifi and USB trransfer to phone (needs computer app called DiskAid as companion software)
Docs to Go-View and edit (edit word files only at this time. Excel editing to come in future update). Has a personal and business version. If you have used it in the past it will work a bit differently on the iPhone. Wifi file transfer.
QuickOffice
I am sure there are other apps too. I don't know them all. I personally use FileAid and DiskAid because of easy USB transfer of files. I don't need editing functions. I edit on my pc and replace as necessary, which is not often.
Check these out in the appstore.
