trouble with lockcode

ok i was at work and someone locked my ipod touch with a passcode i dont know who or what the code was is there a way to break the code or do i have to restore the entire device and re-jailbreak it??

Obviously this was just a prank, perhaps to teach you to take better care of your stuff (otherwise, he/she would have stolen it outright). I'll suggest you wait a liitle bit longer for the prankster to have his fill of mirth at your expense and, hopefully, give you the passcode. And then you should box his ears!

If you connect to the iTunes (has to be the same one you normally use to sync) you should be able to lock it. Even then you might need to know the passcode, else it's time to restore from a backup.

So this could turn into a mean prank. But it's also a lesson to those who don't use a passcode.
