How much is it worth?

Here's my situation:

I just recently had some problems with my iPhone and got a replacement. I now want a 3GS White 32GB. I am planning on selling my iPhone 3G 8GB and want to know how much it is worth. I have done some research and people have been selling it for $600AUD and I just want to know how much they are actually worth. If anyone could just fill me in that would be great.

That's in USD right? On the eBay Australia site people are selling second hand 8 giggers for about $500 AUD Still locked onto Optus. But the thing in Australia is that the iPhone is not exclusive to any carrier; the only one that doesn't have the iPhone is '3'. Most people favor Optus and they offer to unlock the phone.

Right, but AFAIK, it's still just software unlocked. Now, if you got it in New Zealand, that would be a different story, they sell factory unlocked phones there, so there resale value is higher.

This month I sold a 16gb 3g for $375 but the back was scratched up a lot and I sold a 8gb 3g for $340. Both were locked and not JB. Sold both on Ebay

Thanks for all reply's... So now i'm just waiting for Apple to send me my replacement and then I will sell it.. I'm now having trouble buying the new one now because apparently my local telco says that they don't have any stock and have no idea when they are going to get new stock and if they will ever get any more.
