Backing Up Files

How do i back up my contacts and everything else? and does it affect my phone if i jailbreak my phone using ver 3.0.1. Also can i still use iTunes to purchase apps from iTunes after jailbreakingas i have money in my account? and which is the best WinSCP

You can back your contacts up in an email account and sync them in iTunes. You can still use your current App Store apps and buy more. Jailbreaking doesn't take away features, it adds them. You can back up your App store and stock apps with Chronus and your jailbroken apps with PkgBackup, since you'll want to restore to factory settings once 3.1 comes out.
