Just got the update. I like the new icon and various additions they added. Beejive FTW!

Someone please explain why this is worth the $10. I use the free AIM....because I mainly use AIM....and the push works great and it was free!

Yes....I'm cheap. :dft012:wink

BeeJive wasn't pushing too good.

IM+ also has push for Twitter which I love. I'm also growing to like the UI much more. Maybe it's because I needed something fresh to buy in the app store, but I'll give BeeJive another shot.

It's more stable than AIM; I've never experienced a crash with it like I have AIM. I don't like the fact that when you send a friend an IM using AIM, it says "sending" and doesn't allow you to start typing up another message.

Beejive is always pushing out updates, has a ton of customization, blah blah blah lol. If you only use AIM then there isn't much need to purchase it.

To a degree, I see where you're coming from. I only use it because I'm so use to being on a BlackBerry, and using BlackBerry Messenger; thus being instantly connected.

I did try Yahoo IM on my iPhone for about 3-4 days, and it worked flawlessly. But, the two main people that I chat to, use GoogleTalk.

PS: I actually have both Beejive & IM+ PUSH. I think I just prefer Beejive more :dft012:wink

I have palringo and I used that for a while, but when it didn't get push....i switched over to AIM. The one person I mainly talk to, I text.....

I'm very tempted to buy it, but I don't think I'll get my $10 worth. darn it! :dft012:wink

My conscience wins again!!!!!

Friend of mine said the same thing until he bought it. Now he's glad he did. :)

In fact, it might actually get used more. I know a lot of people who stopped using AIM on the iPhone because it wasn't that good. When they purchased BeeJive, they became an IMing machine.

This new version of Beejive is working a lot better, and seems much quicker now to do anything! Especially when you open an ongoing chat, it use to take a while to populate, now it's virtually instant. Nicely done...
