Facebook.app is getting some much needed updates and a fresh look very soon. The iPhone app's developer (Joe Hewitt) tweeted he had uploaded the 3.0 version of Facebook.app to the AppStore for approval Sunday, and is even more excited for 3.1, which he's working on now.

The current app is not satisfactory. It's very good news that they are going to make an update. Hope that will fix all the previous problems. Waiting for it.

Heard it was being pushed through for Tuesday. Im guessing thats Tuesday US time and us in the UK will have it Wednesday.

I like it....it's a lot more like the facebook website.
