It is probably for the better but i can respect you effort in trying to help a friend. I never encountered ojsakila or pepe but there seems to be some strong dislike for them. Either way you did what you could and we should all be so lucky to have a friend like u go to bat for us.

Threads are locked when there's nothing left to say. 20 questions with OJ, for example.

Really, though, we just want people to focus their energies into the topics this site was designed for. Social interaction and outgoing personalities will always be here to make this place awesome, but when they become the focal point, the objective of the site gets lost in the riff raff. This is just me speaking here, but I think the other mods and Chris would agree.

Feel free to discuss the decision all you want here, but if you're expecting it to change anything or do anything but bring up bad feelings and more issues, you're fooling yourself. I'd rather move on, personally.

Your theory that if a thread bores YOU it should be locked is pretty self serving. If OTHER people are interested in keeping a thread alive, why should it be locked because YOU find it annoying?
I'm not bored or annoyed. I think the topic was a little disrespectful. The admin made their decision and we should accept it and move on, rather than continuing to debate it. The outcome won't change, so what's the point? I use the new posts button several times a day here. I would love to be able to click an "ignore" button for certain threads, specifically game codes threads, as I have no interest in games, but there is no option for that yet.

Now if you think the mods want us to continue to discuss Pepe and OJ, consider this response I got from a Mod when posting Pepes' letter,
Oh my god guys, can we drop it with the campaigns? It's getting silly around here. Pepe is NEVER... And I repeat... NEVER coming back to EIC and he knows why. End of story.

There's got to be more important things to talk about. I'm glad you and pepe are friends, Europa, but keep it offsite and let's just not talk about him here, ok?They would prefer that we drop it, so I'm dropping it and I wish everyone else would as well.

Yep, not much different than Logan's Roadhouse. Let's face it, any place where you throw peanut shells on the floor ain't gonna be that good. A step up, IMO, would be Longhorn Steakhouse, if you must have the Texas feel.

Always seems like Long Island is the last place to get restaurant chains. When I lived there I remember when Outback and Applebee's came, and they had been around the country for years. The Outbacks were packed, at least at first. A marketing friend once told me it's because LI is a tough market. I thought it was because there were already good local places to eat, which often did well (e.g., the Spare Rib).
