Apple's very first Logo

What do you think of it? Sir Isaac Newton under the apple tree, designed as Apple, Inc.'s first logo in 1976. Imagine this coming up on your iPhone screen when it boots up.

Not really, that curve not fully extending to the vertices of the Apple is enough to set me off.

Speaking of how times change, this reminds me of the "gay pride"/rainbow colored decals I see on cars sometimes.

The very first logo is too difficult. The more simple it is, the more chances that it would be remembered. Imagine that logo at your iPhone or MACbook

The original logo looks more like the logo for Dr. Spilkis' Magic Elixir from circa 1870.
