It is being released tomorrow for xbox and playstation. Are we going to see it in the App Store relatively soon?

I thought I saw somewhere on Patrick's site (http://justanotheriphoneblog.com) that Madden wouldn't be out this year.

It makes perfect sense of course. The main console versions of FIFA 10 will be released on October 2nd, just in time to get all the summer transfers in-game, while Madden NFL 10 ships earlier - August 14th.
We'd assume Madden 10 iPhone will ship with the console versions, the term "soon" doesn't say October to me for FIFA 10, so maybe we'll be graced with an iPhone version of that in August or September.

you can follow the developer at www.twitter.com/eamobile (http://www.twitter.com/eamobile) I found it last night when I was looking to see if the game would be release today or not.

I am a freak of games. Always look for some news about games. Here I got some cool news. Waiting for Will Madden 2010. Hope to play it in my playstation.

I too am waiting for Madden 2010. I think it has the potential of being better than NFL 2010, which by the way, has been reduced in price to $4.99.

I have heard on Twitter that promo pics of Madden 2010 will be posted at 10 AM on Monday.

Madden has got to be better than NFL 2010. I'm sure the graphics will be much better and the game play will be smoother.

I agree with you. I'm really anticipating this app. Monday morning they will release screen shots so I'm sure it won't be too much longer until its release with the NFL season starting up.

I'm anxious for the Madden release too. Although I've not heard anything about the anticipated release price of the app, I also expect it will be more than NFL 2010.

I'm thinking in the $9.99 price range. EA's apps tend be priced at $9.99.

I now see on a website posted back in July that the price will be $19.99. *Gulp* This might make sense if Madden 2010 is one of those premium apps in the '$20 and up App store'.

Madden launch day was a sad day for the iPhone world. Although we could all go out and drop $70 for a shiny new console game (which I’m sure ten billion people did), our beloved iPhones were sadly neglected. EA kept saying that the iPhone would get Madden, but the skeptics thought that maybe this wouldn’t be the year.

Well, I, along with the other skeptics, were wrong. Madden is coming… and I have some fantastic looking screenshots! The game will include real NFL rosters (including Brett Favre on the Vikings) and will be available for opening day weekend. As soon as I hear more, I’ll let you guys know.

Of course, us early adapters will pay $20 for the game and others will catch it on a 3 day 50% off sale.

I doubt that game will be on sale until after the season. I've never spent more than $1.99 for an app and only bought 3 ever - but strongly considering this...

I, on the other hand, don't mind at all paying for apps that I'll use.

I was a little disappointed in the graphics with these screen shots. I will wait and see how the final product looks. I guess I'm use to comparing the graphics to xBox or PS..

It's not the graphics I'm worried. I want the gameplay to be as close to console gaming as possible.

You are right. It is the other things that matter too, such as smoothness of play, controls, accuracy, and other features.
