Here's a sincere message addressed to everyone here that I received from Pepe. I support a trial ban reversal if it is possible because I believe he contributed a lot to this forum and I miss his input.
Good Evening All

Due to the recent wave of optimism for my mentor OJSAKILA to be reinstated to EIC, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my hand and offer an apology as well. EIC is a great place with a lot of good information. I know a lot of people on here are not my biggest fans, and I am not going to deny the fact that I too often posted without thinking, didn't care, and sometimes posted stuff just to get a rise out of people. I do not like everyone on the site, as I am surly not liked by everyone either, but that is life as we know it. If you take a step back though and look at the big picture, I also helped a ton of people out with problems that they were having while jailbreaking, installing apps, and pretty much anything possible. My pm box was constantly full with new users requests for help because they saw my posts and knew that I knew what I was talking about. Heck I even talked some people through their troubles over the phone really late at night when they were freaking out because they thought they "bricked their iphone". So I guess what I am getting at is that even though I was a huge jerk off at times, I did help the site out in a positive manner quite frequently.

I would also like to offer a personal apology to macgirl. Our first run in was not the greatest, and I regret getting off on the wrong foot with you. I am argumentative by nature, and it is something I am working on in my personal life (I will argue with my 59 year old mother just to prove a point if I feel I am right). I know this is not an excuse for how I addressed you via pm, but hopefully you will accept my apology regardless if I am reinstated.

After I was permanently banned, I made many duplicate accounts, used proxies, and pretty much was just annoying in many ways. The thing is, I am a firm believer in rules that are outlined, and you can ask psylicon that I did not deny the fact that I should be banned. The only reason I can offer for my behavior after the permanent ban was due to the fact that the justification for my banning was along the lines of "well annoying is annoying, and even though it isn't fair, it must be dealt with". I wanted to challenge the rules because I truly believed that if they are exploited, then possibly new ones could be enacted that could possibly make the site better.

Anyways, enough about that. I am here offering an apology for reinstatement with terms and nobody on here can deny that I know my **** about iPhones, jailbreaking, and other significant topics to the site. If I am reinstated, I give you my word that I will pm the mods any duplicate accounts I have made (banned or still active), will help out solely in the on topic parts of the site, will NOT micro mod, and will refrain from making inciting posts for the sole purpose to get a rise. I also will listen to any requests made on behalf of the chance of reinstatement, and if I falter and should be banned again, I will gladly donate $1000 to the charity or website of chris' choice. I really do not expect this to happen, but I am sick of surfing through random names and on proxies and I want to help people out again on the site. So hopefully some type of compromise can be made, and if not no worries.

Oh my god guys, can we drop it with the campaigns? It's getting silly around here. Pepe is NEVER... And I repeat... NEVER coming back to EIC and he knows why. End of story.

There's got to be more important things to talk about. I'm glad you and pepe are friends, Europa, but keep it offsite and let's just not talk about him here, ok?

Pepe has just as much right as OJ does to state a sincere apology thru the same means. They both want to come back, they both earnestly want to return to EIC and make amends. If Oj is allowed to return then Pepe should as well albeit with supervision, from the mods or whatever or post limits until they are reviewed by posts, post content, demeanor etc.

London, I have zero interest in discussing this with you. Pepe's repeated attempts to hack this website and antagonize the admin have him on the hardest type of ban we can give. That will never change. Find a new hero.

Pics or It never happened. But nice try in saying he attempted to hack EIC. As if Chris would be so naive to leave a chain of sites open to being hacked by ONE user mind you leave it open for being hacked regardless. There are so many threats out there and trust me Pepe isnt one of them.

Is it so personal for you Dave that Pepe remain banned that you have to make up fibs in saying he "repeatedly attempted to hack EIC"????

BTW: I think if Pepe had any chance at all of being allowed to return, the borderline extortion comment pretty much killed it: "If I am reinstated, I give you my word that I will pm the mods any duplicate accounts I have made (banned or still active)..." So he will only reveal his aliases if he's unbanned? Not exactly offering an olive branch.

Doesnt really have much weight, im sure Chris can find which ones. Oj wasnt offering an olive branch either. Bring them both back....lets hope the mods agree and not for personal reasons.

I don't think Hayes had any more drama in his life than anyone else; he just was unequipped to deal with it and chose to broadcast it to the public.

I would say a bit of both. However the PITA portion was enough to get the permanent ban, and he still pushes his luck with duplicate accounts and such.

Player in his own mind maybe. He was one of those guys who would degrade women after they wouldn't give him the time of day. That is not a player. A player would be someone who takes part in the sport of being a ladies man. Or if the player is a woman, she takes part in scoring the men.

If a lady likes being disrespected and unappreciated, I would recommend she seek counseling. I don't know of any normal person who would like to be mistreated. Mistreating others takes a special breed.

Well, I think it was a semantic dispute worth arguing because that word casts him in worse lighting than I think he deserves to be in.

That being said, Chris has stated that neither OJ or Pepe will have their bans reversed so I am going to stop responding to this thread because a decision has been made and I see no point in further debating it.

As was made quite obvious by the post Europa linked to, neither OJ nor Pepe will be returning to EIC. Thread closed, and please read the new policy (http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/off-topic/eic-policy-reinstatement-of-permanently-banned-members-53147.html) on banned members returning - there's no point in continuing the discussion of it.
