Well i am just wondering, havent been around that long. If that is true then people need to learn how to use the ignore function (all forums have it). Especially if he helped out like others indicated, I mean i dont see too many offended members in this thread saying NO!!!!

since you're new maybe you haven't found the time to read the forum rules yet. i believe they mention something about "no politics" and "no name calling". i'm not a mod, though...obviously.

Point taken. However if one is banned for repeated unacceptable behavior that should apply across the board and obviously it doesn't. There are a couple of members still here that cross that line with regularity, yet can apparently do no wrong.

If memory serves, Oj's last few posts weren't that bad, IMO. I think it was more along the lines of 'breaking the camel's back', rather than one or two bombs. Let him back, put him on 'probation'. Couldn't hurt. I miss him adding to the diversity of this forum.

Keep in mind that the worst stuff is deleted when someone is banned. OJ has said some umbelievably ignorant things, which is why this isn't as cut and dry of a decision as you think it is.

I've already expressed my opinion in wanting OJ back and won't continue to lobby for it. He has expressed remorse, and it appears genuine, at least as genuine as I guess it can appear over the internet. However, I hope everyone respects the mods' and chris' decision either way. It's probably not an easy decision and I'm sure somebody will be upset about it either way. Its probably time for everyone to step away and let the guys (and lady) discuss it between themselves and possibly with OJ instead of continuing to stir up a debate and putting pressure on the ones who make the decision.

I'm not going to try to read into what iCafe intentions are too much. KNK was having troubles with his avatar. iCafe asked him to post it on the board. I posted it for KNK. Tom checked it on his profile, and then gave KNK the directions on posting the avatar to his account, providing the link for convenience. If iCafe did all of this to spite KNK then he is a jerk. If he did it to sincerely help KNK then he will get thanks that he is constantly begging for.

It is hard telling which iCafe showed up. The good, the bad or the evil.

I disagree. I think he did it to show him that it can be done. KNK was having great difficulty getting it to work. After he showed him that it can be done, he gave him instructions on how to get it to work. If KNK had followed the instructions and got it working, iCafe probably would have changed his avatar back.
