When writing a review of an app

How long does it take to show up? I write a review and then nothing happens. Any idea?

I am pretty sure every review gets checked by apple for language and anything else you wouldn't want someone young to see. Whether a computer or a person does that, they can both get backed up. Anyone with access to a computer, iphone, or ipod touch can read the reviews and they want them to be family friendly.
