iphone wont turn on now!!!

I jailbroke it everything is fine. Now I was installing winterboard and it had to restart the phone... but it never loaded back up. And now if I hold the top button, it comes to the apple logo screen then waits and goes black again. When I plug it into my mac it doesn't turn on at all :dft006:unhappy:dft006:unhappy:dft006:unhappy

What's wrong?!?!

Plug it into iTunes, put the phone is DFU mode, then start over and try the whole process again.

I agree. I'm sure your iPhones aren't broken or bricked.

I'm not so much concerned about that...I know enough to reset the phone. I'm pissed I can't get winterboard to work! Is the problem with winterboard???

I really don't know what the problem is. I have a 32g 3GS running firmware 3.01 and Winterboard runs very well on it. Have you tried restoring the iPhone and re-jailbreaking? I know it's a pain, but it might work.

I've done it three times now. Each time Winterboard crashes it. Is there something I should be doing that I'm not???

hey.. mine works fine.. but while the apple logo disappears and the black comes just wait thats what i did im running 3.0 i waited and then my iphone booted up :D hope this works..

Thanks guys. I fixed it. I don't know what was wrong, but since it would not turn on I held the home button down while plugging it into my computer and it started up in recovery mode. Then I just redid the entire process and now it works like a charm. And lightyears faster than my buddies 3g lol.

I did this tonight and had the exact same issue after installing Winterboard.

I just did the DFU mode (hold down home/power for 10 seconds, then let go of home I think until the iTunes logo comes up) and did a restore in iTunes.

Then re-jailbroke, all good

all you need todo is fource shut donw the phone
(hold the home and power button untile the phone is off)
then turn it on..
go into cydia and unistall whatever you installed .

what happens is that when you install something the firmare wont take thats what it will do.

for example if your on firmware 3.0.1
the tweak spotbright wont work.
ive tried a couple of times and it doesnt work and i use that explanation i did ontop and fixes my problems hopes it works
