Hey guys, just as the title insinuates, I purchased a legally Unlocked phone from Apple. I just have a question as far as jailbreaking goes. Can I still jailbreak it and not have messed with ANYTHING that has to do with the already unlocked portion of the phone?
I don't need to unlock it obviously, but I would be interested in jailbreaking.
Thanks for the input.

You can jailbreak it without any risk of locking it. That's what's so nice about the factory unlocked phones, they cannot accidentally become locked like the software unlocked phones can.

You're welcome :)
Let us know if you need any help jailbreaking. Remember that you'll need to use the 3.0 IPSW with redsn0w even if you are on 3.0.1.

So I need to follow the instructions on redsnow and go back to 3.0.0 even though I am with 3.0.1 right now??

Well I jailbroke it, but now I'm on version 3.0.0
I must of misread. So how should I go about updating my firmware? Do I have to restore, update my firmware to 3.0.1, then re-jailbrake just POINTING to the 3.0.0 firmware and not actually restoring it to there??

Right. You need to browse in redsn0w to the 3.0 firmware then let the software do its thing. When the jailbreak is done, you'll still have 3.0.1 installed on your iPhone.
