I was just wondering if it is possible to use apps like myCinema, dTunes to download movies and songs then using iFile transfer them from var/mobile/library/downloads to the actual ipod application.

I know it is possible using a computer but how anout just using the iphone??

I have never tried, but I wouldnt advise it until you get confirmation.
I'd just use ssh. It's easier and less fiddly, you stand a greater risk of doing something by accident.

By all means try it and report your findings.
