I used to enjoy going down to Lewes (near Brighton) where the whole town prepped all year for Guy Fawkes and put on a great bonfire, fireworks, and surrounding events, and had some fine pubs as well :)

Is it still common practice to burn the Guy in effigy?

Remember, remember, the Fifth of November...
great movie, although a little piece of me died when i heard Natalie Portman's sad attempt at a british accent.

Well... the movies over and I have to say I was impressed. Weird, because I kind of didnt want to be by it.
1)Natalie Portman loves shaving her head.
2)The beginning of the film was a little wish wash.
3)If I ever bump into Naps and you dont speak like that, ill be very upset.

Sure was when I was last there. Left the UK about 8.5 years ago.

V for Vendetta was a movie that I also didn't want to see when I saw the trailer. Go figure...
