I hear all this talk about the unlimited data plan not really being unlimited....i asked an ATT customer service rep about that and they told me that it indeed is unlimited and there is no 5 gig cap to it like i've been hearing......is this rep wrong? Has anyone actually gone over the supposed 5 gig cap and got charged??

Mark Polinsky: Hello and good day to you, Mario.
Mark Polinsky: I will be happy to assist with your data plan questions.
me: thanks
Mark Polinsky: No, there is no limit to the amount of data usage you can do on the iPhone Data Plan. Unless you are going outside the United States.
me: so if i use 100 gig of data thats ok? I heard there is a 5 gig limit.
me: and i mean 100 gig / month
Mark Polinsky: There is a 5 Gigabyte cap on our wireless air cards, but not internet usage on a phone.
me: got it, thanks

AFAIK, it is only on the aircards. Verizon caps their aircards at 5gb/month, too.
