Hi, Just wondering for anyone that has the beta 3.1, is there a way to only disable A2DP. I have a semi-unique situation. I have a car navi I installed which has multple sources including bluetooth (A2DP) and iPod (Direct Cable) I plug my phone in usually for iPod music as it is better quality and it charges the phone. When I plug my iphone into my car iPod attatchment, it automatically starts playing music from the iPod Source. However, soon after, the bluetooth connects (phone and A2DP), and switches the music over to the bluetooth source.

This is annoying as everytime I have to go to settings, bluetooth, pairing, iphone, and diconnect the A2DP. I contacted Kenwood and they said there is nothing on the unit to disable only one of the 2. There is also no distinction on the iPhone.

SO, the simple question is: Does 3.1Beta have a seperate funtion to disable just A2DP?

Hey,

This is my exact problem as well. Put the KVT-514 in my car (with KCA-BT200, KNA-G510, iP-301v) and all was great. Then upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0, and now my head unit automatically connects A2DP. Audio plays fine until about 20s passes, then changes to bt. Also, phonebook download interruption causes long gaps in music, up to 30s, then 1s of music, then another 30s silence. Phone book takes about 25 minutes to download when A2DP on. Have to get into car, start car, turn radio on, wait 30s, THEN plug in iPhone. Or, have to plug in iPhone, wait for 30s, then go into 4 levels of head unit menus until I get to the A2DP settings, then do 3 more clicks to disable. It is unacceptable. There is a jailbreak solution, but I would like to avoid jailbreaking if at all possible...
