Case or not?

Having spent the day case-less I'm converted, I love how my phone feels in the hand, and cant see myself using a case again (although the screen protector is staying on!). So it just got me thinking - how many people do or don't use a case/screen protector?

As much as I would like to go naked:005:snicker, I am paranoid.
Seriously though, I had v1 naked and dented the corner dropping it, 3g didn't seem to me like it would hold up well in an accidental fall and neither does 3gs. I have had screen protectors on and off but have not had one on 3Gs. So mostly only partial nakedness.:011:evillaugh

naked around the house and im still looking for a easy to put on/off case for times i have to leave in a hurry. My incase slider is a 3 or 4 minute job just getting it off. The top part is that snug.

I still feel quite paranoid to and I'm pretty sure if my iPhone wasn't insured I'd prob still have it in a case. As is though I know im covered for all damage/theft etc which is definatley a weight off my mind.

Apparently Best Buy offers insurance for something like $15-$20 a month. There are also a number of 3rd parties that offer insurance for the iPhone too.

Did you have to file the bottom piece lip (where it covers the lower bezel) down some? I read some complaints that the incase slider bottom piece slides on too tight, which causes bubbling on the screen protector.

I use a case and no screen protector. I refuse to deny myself the delicious oleophobic screen goodness the 3GS offers.

My case is the iFrogz Luxe.

Black Vaja iVolution case w/o clip and no screen protector at the moment. (Only because the Crystal Power Support screen savers haven't arrived yet. #$@* !!) I'm just really paranoid about the screen not having any scratch protection. I'd like to be talked out of putting one on since it has the Oleophobic coating, but I'll probably end up with it applied. I've always been an "as nature intended" guy but after getting my replacement 3gs I bought an aluminum red coloured incase slider and I love it! No screen protector though, the 3gs' screen is just toooo nice!

Seriously, I slapped a case & a screen shield on my 3GS before leaving the Apple store. I have large hands so I fear such a small item slipping from my grip. Besides, I prefer to baby my first iPhone the same way I've babied every new car I've owned ... at least until the first scratch.

When I purchased my 3GS. I discussed the new screen & the merits of a protector with the Genius. He agreed with my plan although he may have only done so to make a sale.

As for cases, I have two different ones. A Moshi iGlaze and a Speck CandyShell.

I voted for "the works", but I vary on what I use. Currently I bounce between two cases, an Incipio Feather and an Incase slider. Not using a screen protector currently,. but usually use an anti-glare film. Go naked around the house most times. Have also used the Invisible Shield and really liked that, but I now enjoy the option to remove my case when I want.

I use Incase Slider and Crystal screen protector. I also use a holster with the iPhone in the case. It gives me peace of mind to know my iPhone 3GS is well protected.
