those who are married will be able to relate...but upon getting my iphone my wife became jealous and now wants one as well. so i am getting her one for her birthday next month. the only issue is that we have two completely different tastes in music. so i am curious if i can set up two itunes accounts on the same desktop. i would prefer not to set up another entire user account for the mac but just be able to log in to two different itunes accounts. is this possible?

If she has her own login she can have her own Itunes account.

i didn't see any options in the itunes menu to log out then log back in or change user accounts.

If you are on a Windows based machine you goto the control panel then users and then create a new user. Once that is done login as that user, download itunes, and install it under the new user login.

Bouncer, this isnt possible. However, If your Mac has a large enough hard drive its possible to create playlists for you both. So you would have 1 music library, but when you want to play / sync your songs you just use "bouncers" playlist. When its your wife playing / syncing you would just use the "bouncers wife" playlist.
Only other way is to create a new user.
