Do you like covers on your iPhone?
I don't. For me they ruin the natural sleek look of the iPhone. Also, I take good care of it so it stays looking good without need for a cover. If it does, by chance, fall and take a ding, so be it. It was meant to be.

I like the beauty of the naked iPhone. I have also found that hard plastic covers (like Agent 18) severely damage the iPhone. I have also found that most any type or material case will surely scratch the bezel. Therefore naked is the only way to go for me. Mark

i don't like them but i've scratched up too many iPhones so I'm keeping my 3GS in a ifrogz luxe case. It has a felt lining in it to deter scratching from within the case which is a problem with other form fitting hard cases. so far so good, not a scratch on mine.

Same here and same case choice. You only have to drop it once to crack the screen, and anything I can do to prevent that is good by me.

I have the ifrogz luxe case as well. It looks and feels good, however, it is bloody hard to get on and off plus it has already scrathed the bezel at the bottom of my phone. So i'm looking at other cases. I like the phone naked but need to keep it in mint condition so that when it comes time to sell again, I can get a good return.

I prefer a cover. Dropping it is damn near inevitable.

I don't really like them - I like the look of the iPhone too much. What I've decided to do with my 3GS is keep it naked until it gets a fair amount of dings, and then put it into my Incase slider, which is pretty good looking itself. That way I'll always have a good looking phone.

Honestly I've yet to find a case that doesn't leave a few scratches. I've just learned to accept a few scratches on my bezel. If it weren't for the coating on the screen of the 3gs I might put an invisible shield on mine and then put a case on it. But the screen is so awesome on this thing I don't wanna do that

I guess one of the things I dislike most about covers is how thick the iPhone becomes with them. It doesn't seem to take much to alter the slim, sleek appearance. At least that goes for the covers I've seen in use.
I was in a poker game not long ago and this dude pulls out his iPhone. I didn't even know what it was for a moment, it was so huge. Was thinking it was an eBay, made in China, knock off or something.

i don't like having to use a case, but i do because i have no faith in the plastic case of the 3G/3GS.
My v1 was a tank, so i used it naked.

Naked is uncomfortable for me only because I fear damage that much. I prefer the 3G/3GS design (other than the black border on the sides of the screen) for its grippiness versus the V1. I absolutely never felt comfortable holding my V1 naked. Way too slippery. My naked 3GS is actually a bit gripper than it is in my Seidio Innocase II.
But when I'm outside, it's 100% case for protection. In fact, keeping it in a case will ensure I never drop it (the classic umbrella/rain syndrome). At home, on the couch, on carpeting... I'll go naked. Fun times. ;)

I also don't like to use phone covers. Somehow I really don't like it. But to protect this special iphone, people should use covers. One of my friend's iphone screen got many scratches and look so horrible for not using covers.

As much as I hate cases I did buy a white Speck silicone case. I thought maybe I should for those times when my iPhone is in a hostile environment like say my favorite Martini bar. Not that the establishment is hostile but you tend to lose your motor skills after the second Martini. :dft002:amazed Mark

I love having the case off when I'm out and about in the house, as it's just easier to hold...but since my iPhone 3G is like a bar of soap, having the case on has saved it from drops many many times.
